HILLS-based artist Katherine Reynolds, centre, recently jumped over the other side of the art fence, offering herself as a subject for a portrait. The portrait was painted live at Burrinja Gallery, with the work completed by award-winning painters, from left, Vicki Sullivan and Fiona Bilbrough. The live session was part of the Women Painting Women exhibition, which takes its inspiration from a US concept of the same name. Featuring portraits of well-known Australian women, as well as self-portraits of the artists, the exhibition has been a welcome addition to the region’s art community. 154981_01
