See the Big Picture

YARRA Ranges Shire is reminding residents to have their say on the future of the region.
As part of a new initiative, the Big Picture community consultation process aims to develop a new vision for the future of the region.
Community members are encouraged to contribute their ideas through an online forum at oursay.org/yarraranges/bigpicture and vote or comment on the ideas of others.
Feedback received will contribute to the development of the new vision and council plan, while also playing an important role in guiding the key projects of the new council, which will be formed following the upcoming council elections this October.
A series of community forums has also been planned, to allow community members to discuss the ideas for the future with others, helping achieve general consensus as to what matters most for the community as a whole.
Registrations for the following community conferences are now open:
* Thursday, 25 August – Sherbrooke Family and Children’s Centre, Upwey;
* Monday, 29 August – Kimberley Place Community Centre, Chirnside Park;
* Wednesday, 31 August – Coldstream Community Centre, Coldstream.
To share your big picture ideas, visit: http://oursay.org/yarraranges/bigpicture.
