THE body of a man, believed to be that of missing man John McKague, 24, has been located around Pound Creek Track, Monbulk, at midday on Tuesday 27 September.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner, though the body is yet to be formally identified.
Emergency Services had earlier in the morning conducted a search near Sherbrooke Falls to locate the missing Mount Martha man.
Mr McKague was last seen near a store on the Burwood Highway, Tecoma, on Saturday 24 September.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
