Mount Evelyn student Nicholas Schliefert has been selected for a Young Technologist Scholarship valued at up to $25,000. The undergraduate computer science student at Swinburne University was one of 35 to receive the scholarship this year, which aims to expand Australia’s technology talent pool. Nicholas said the scholarship would support him with his studies and ambition to pursue a career in technology and software. The scholarship is part of the Westpac Bicentennial Foundation, which aims to celebrate Westpac’s 200th anniversary this year. 168518
