Bookings for a community barbecue and consultation forum for the Emerald Lake Park precinct are open.
The Cardinia Shire Council event will run from 12.30pm to 2.30pm on Saturday 4 August at the Emerald Lake Park Environment Centre.
Attendees will be able to share their hopes, concerns and ideas about the Emerald Lake Park precinct – what makes the precinct great, what needs improvement, and what could be implemented in the future.
Feedback gathered from the forum and the other consultation activities will help inform a five-year strategic plan for the area, which includes Emerald Lake Park and Nobelius Heritage Gardens.
The plan will guide activities, maintenance, promotion and improvements.
Anyone can leave feedback at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay or on postcards throughout the Emerald Lake Park precinct, Belgrave and Emerald libraries and other community locations during the consultation period.
Those who participate will go in the running to win one of six Emerald Lake Park passes for two adults and two children, or one of 100 free hot drink vouchers for the Emerald Lake Park café.
Consultation closes 5pm on Sunday 19 August.
