Montrose’s Sarah Court Preschool is holding its fifth Healthy Harvest Festival on Saturday 15 September.The festival encourages people to grow their food, cook healthy meals, shop locally and be active.

There will a range of activities taking place including native animal demonstrations, African drumming, a silent disco, a jumping castle, and Ruccis Circus School and sporting activities.

There will also be fresh produce stalls, free family activities, plants for sale, vegetable seedlings, hand-crafted goods, a cake stall and bike smoothie making.

Preschool president Dianne Holland encouraged everyone to come along.

“It’s always a fun filled day for everyone,” she said.

“You’ll be able to see the CFA truck, ambulance, face painting, craft activities and enjoy live entertainment from Sadie Mustoe, Miss Lilly Pilly Green and Montrose Primary School choir.”

Entry is free and the festival will run from 10am to 2pm.
