Planned burn in Kalorama

Forest Fire Management Victoria and CFA will undertake a nine hectare burn in Kalorama tomorrow.

The CFA have advised that the planned burn will be carried out on October 30, weather conditions permitting.

The burn will take place between the hours of 10am and 8pm along Scenic Crescent, Kalorama and smoke will be visible.

If you are impacted by smoke it is suggested that you close windows and doors to prevent smoke from entering.

If you are experiencing any symptoms that may be due to smoke exposure, the Department of Health and Human Services advises that you should seek medical advice or call Nurse on Call on 1300 606 024

Signs may be in place to slow traffic and access to walking tracks in areas close to or in burn areas may be restricted
