Police are appealing for witnesses to a brazen early-morning raid on the Monbulk Mitre 10.

Monbulk Sergeant Luke Schroder said two men broke into the Monbulk Road store about 5am on Monday 11 February.

He said they stole seven Weber Q barbecues and three nail guns.

Sgt Schroder said the small, light-coloured car they used in the burglary was parked outside for an extended period.

He urged anyone who saw the car or the men, or has other information to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Monbulk Police Station on 9756 6266.
