Beat the heat

The Herb and Chilli Festival brought the heat to Wandin over the weekend with hundreds of people testing their mettle against the hottest chillies the Yarra Valley has to offer.

With a huge range of festival stalls, old and new, this year was one the biggest so far, and it’s fair to say that for many the weekend ended in more than just heart burn.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a chilli festival without photos of a bunch of people burning their tongues out, and luckily for you readers at home Mail photographer Greg Carrick was there to capture all the action.
