Prehistoric fun at library

Emerald Library has gone back in time to bring kids prehistoric fun and activities for Dinovember as the library welcomes back patrons post-lockdown.

A colouring competition, scavenger hunt and storytime make up this year’s Dinovember program which began 8 November.

Casey Cardinia Libraries chief executive Beth Luppino was thrilled Dinovember was back for another year.

“This is the perfect opportunity to get the kids back to your local library. If there is one research topic that is always popular, that would definitely be dinosaurs!” she said.

“Bring your favourite dino-figurine in when you visit to show our library team – they are prehistoric enthusiasts too.

“It is exciting to see kids programs and activities back up and running in our libraries – we want to reconnect with our youngest members and remind them of the magic that waits behind our library doors”
