Cardinia Council asks for feedback on asset plan

Cardinia Shire Council is developing its first asset plan and is encouraging residents to have their say.

The plan aims to help the community understand the assets council uses to provide services and how it mages those assets.

The plan is one of Cardinia Shire Council’s corporate strategic planning documents showing how it plans to use assets to deliver on its Community Vision 2040 plan.

All government councils are required to produce and adopt an asset plan by 30 June 2022, as a part of the reforms in the Victorian Local Government Act 2020.

Cardinia Shire residents can have their say on the council’s draft asset plan at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay

Community consultation closes on 28 March 2022.
