Kalorama residents should be aware of planned burns

Residents in Kalorama may see or smell smoke from several small planned burns on Saturday 12 March and over the long weekend.

Two fuel reduction burns totalling 21-hectares at Browns Road and St Marks Road are focused on developing a fuel-reduced area to help protect the Kalorama Township.

A further 24-hectare fuel reduction burn at Wilkilla Road in Kalorama will be ignited on Sunday 13 March if conditions are suitable.
