Wellness walks for the Yarra Ranges

If you have ever wanted to join a run club without the running, this summer you can lace up your walking shoes and join Yarra Ranges Council’s Wellness Walk Series – with walks scheduled once a month!

Yarra Ranges Council is hosting a series of relaxed, guided walks along some of Yarra Ranges’ most beautiful trails, designed to help you slow down, get active and enjoy some sunshine.

It’s a chance to connect with others in the community, move your body at an easy pace and experience the mental health benefits of walking outdoors.

These walks have been developed with 18–25-year-olds in mind, however if you fall out of this age bracket, please register your interest and the council will see what they can offer you.

Come along with a friend or join us solo, there are people to meet, steps to take and prizes to be won.

There will be one at Lillydale Lake (meet at the toilet block) and in another in Mt Evelyn meeting at the Trail Café.

The Lilydale Lake walk will be held on Saturday 31 January between 9.30am and 10.30am.

The Mt Evelyn walk will be held at the same time on Saturday 28 February.

A final walk will be held in Belgrave on Saturday 31 March in the same time bracket, meeting at the library.
