A THREE-WAY partnership has resulted in improved safety, traffic flow and drainage on a busy Upper Ferntree Gully road.
In an initial community meeting in 2005, Knox City Council agreed to link plans to redevelop Talaskia Road with building plans at the Angliss Hospital and Upper Ferntree Gully Primary School.
On-street parking previously narrowed Talaskia Road and caused congestion between Albert Street and Burwood Highway. Since then indented parking has eased the problem and the Angliss Hospital has helped by building a staff car park within the hospital site.
