Yarra Ranges residents will be able to view a screenning of the documentary ‘Under Cover,’ this month, hosted by the Eastern Affordable Housing Alliance, Monash University XYX Lab and partner Councils, including Yarra Ranges Council.
The documentary highlights the plight of a group of women experiencing homelessness and is narrated by Margot Robbie and shares the often-secret lives of women experiencing homelessness.
Following the film, Jane Caro AM will host a panel discussion on housing solutions for older women.
The panel will feature Sue Thompson, director of the Under Cover documentary, along with leading researcher Dr Kate Raynor and Sophie Dyring, architect/author and a guest woman from the documentary.
The screening is on Thursday 16 March 2023 from 5.30pm to 8.45pm at the Karralyka Centre, Mines Road Ringwood.
