Principal Deb Stack said dancing was a great way to develop self-confidence, body awareness, self-discipline, poise, rhythm and musicality.
“We realise that each of our students is a special individual with specific needs and goals,” she said.
“We take pride in responsibly understanding these needs and channelling our efforts into matching these goals. We work hard to help our students develop a strong self-image and to teach them the importance of working as a team.
“Most of all, our classes are fun! The reward for us is to see our students having a great time learning and expressing themselves in a creative and positive manner.”
Tempo Dance Company offers classes for all ages and levels from beginners to advanced.
Ladies tap classes are on Monday evenings and pre schoolers classes are also available Wednesday mornings.
Classes are held at Knox Gymnastic Centre, Mossfield Avenue, Ferntree Gully.
