Spectacular victories

EARLIER this month, Belcoma Netball Club had three teams in the Mountain District Netball Association Grand Final.
Its Open Four team defeated Boronia 20-52, its 15 and Under Four team defeated Boronia 18-48 and the 15 and Under Five team defeated Fairpark 20-33.
The club said it was very proud of all of its teams and was especially proud of the spectacular premiership results.
Member of the Belcoma Netball club Jenny Aylett said it is a wonderful achievement for the club.
“Belcoma Netball Club is one of the oldest sporting clubs in the area and the continued success of its teams, particularly the junior teams, is something the club works hard to maintain,” she said.
Belcoma is entering a number of teams into the Spring Competition beginning 7 September and is particularly interested in recruiting beginner junior players between eight to 10 years of age.
