We question the candidates

Jason Kennedy – Palmer United Party I came to Berwick in 1996 from country Victoria. Started a career in real estate, which lasted more than eight years before I decide I wanted to do my own TV fishing show. Jason Kennedy’s Fishin’ Trip first went to air in 2005 on Melbourne’s channel 31 community station. The show quickly gathered a cult like following and we moved to the Foxtel network and then on to ONE HD and 7mate channels. Married with one little boy, life has changed so fast, my wife is a policewoman and with juggling a national TV show, politician and being a dad is a great balancing act. I’m addicted to cooking and cooking shows. At home I do all the cooking, all the wine selecting, menu preparation and all the cleaning in the kitchen. The kitchen is my domain and I love it. My dear old dad taught me at a young age in the country, that if can’t back something up then don’t say you’ll do it. And with being new to this political game, we see a lot of politicians breaking their word and it frustrates me a great deal.
