Students at Belgrave South Christian School let their creative side take hold as they made musical instruments, jewellery, sculptures, T-shirts and animations from what would usually be thrown away as rubbish.
Some even wrote songs or poetry about the items, while others got behind the lens as they made it part of creative photographs.
“The All About Art Festival is a celebration of creativity, environmental awareness and fun,” art teacher and event organiser Angela Reiher said.“The students and staff were also encouraged to dress up in UP-cycled costumes and some of them were spectacular.
“It was a great day.”
