Burglaries arrest
A WOORI Yallock man will front court after being arrested for a series of burglaries in Yarra Junction and Gembrook.
The 22-year-old man was arrested by police on 18 August and interviewed about burglaries at Gembrook Primary School and Yarra Junction and Gembrook Cricket Clubs.
He was bailed to appear at Ringwood Magistrates’ Court on 4 December.

Club cops a spray
EMERALD police are investigating graffiti attacks on the local tennis club.
Sergeant Fiona Tolmie said police were called to the clubrooms on 23 August, after a number of tags in various colours were made on the building, windows, barbecue and signs.

Trailer taken
A BOX trailer was stolen from a home in Heroes Avenue, Emerald.
The owner of the trailer arrived home from a vacation last month to find that the trailer was missing, but assumed that a family member had borrowed it.
When they discovered a family member did not take the trailer, they reported it to police on 22 August.

Vandals strike
FOUR handles in a meter box in the Cockatoo community hub were broken in a vandalism attack on the area on 18 August.
Emerald’s Sgt Tolmie said that the handles were broken, as well as electrical fuses being taken.
