Owner appeals for lost dog

A DISTRESSED Monbulk breeder is desperate to know the whereabouts of her stolen Dalmatian.
Jenny Clark-Pearman reported her brown and white “liver spotted” Dalmatian ‘Georgia’ to Monbulk police on Sunday 2 October.
She said Georgia was a house dog and was let out to have a play in the front yard with the house cat on Randles Road, but only the cat returned to the house.
“She’s such a beautiful dog and it’s very distressing,” Ms Clark-Pearman said.
“It’s very out of character for her.
“I’ve been on the phone and looking online every day trying to get any information.”
Monbulk police Sergeant Mark Knight said the circumstances surrounding the disappearance are causing police and the owner to suggest the dog was stolen, not lost.
Ms Clark-Pearman is offering a $500 reward for Georgia’s safe return.
Anyone with information about the disappearance of Georgia is asked to call Monbulk police on 9756 6266 or Ms Clark-Pearman on 0411 780 426.
