Supremely knowledgeable and talented local gardener, Shirley Carn, presented her beautiful Monbulk garden to the public, as she held her fifth open garden over the weekend of 22-23 April. The garden, despite only being three years old, is brimming with healthy Australian native plants. Shirley is a plant collector, and her garden showcases her skill in balancing colours, shapes and textures. ‘Mail’ photographer Greg Carrick was on-hand to capture this special event.
