Missing Mooroolbark man

Police are appealing for public help to find Mooroolbark man Phillip Costigan.

The 51-year-old was last seen at an address on Mount View Parade about 8pm on Friday 31 August.

Police and family members hold concerns for his welfare as he has a health condition that requires medication.

They released an image of Phillip in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information on his whereabouts.

Phillip is described as 175 centimetres tall and was last seen wearing a black jacket and grey hiking pants.

He was carrying a dark blue Osprey backpack, sleeping bag, hiking tent and dry food supplies.

Phillip is known to frequent the Walhalla camping ground, Lake Tali Karng and alpine areas.

Police urged anyone who sees Phillip or has information on his whereabouts to call Mooroolbark Police Station on 9725 9999.
