Blessings for bunnies and dogs

A Buddhist spiritual leader blessed animals at Lillydale Lake on Sunday 28 October.

It was the first time the lake hosted the 10th annual Nalandra Buddhist Institute animal blessing.

His Eminence Zimo’g Rinpoche blessed pets for a donation to Coldstream’s Animal Aid to give homeless animals a first-rate second chance.

Animal Aid volunteers attended the blessing with dogs available for adoption.

World Animal Day inspired the event, dedicated to the wellbeing of all animals past, present and future.
