Santa’s coming to Cockatoo

The man in red himself is promising to make an appearance at the Cockatoo Community Christmas Carols.

The event will kick off at 5pm on Saturday 8 December at Alma Treloar Reserve in Pakenham Road, Cockatoo.

The St Luke’s Anglican Church in McBride Street will open its doors as the wet-weather venue should the heavens open up.

From 5pm to 6.30pm there’ll be free family activities with a festival-feel, including a jumping castle, popcorn, face painting and fairy floss.

There’ll also be a sausage sizzle for a small cost.

The Christmas carol singing will start at 6.30pm.

This is an alcohol-free event.
