Family escapes burning house

A family of four had a lucky escape from their burning Menzies Creek home.

Police and emergency services were called to the Menzies Road address just before 12.40am on Friday 15 February.

A man and woman aged in their forties and two children were uninjured.

An arson chemist will attend the scene to determine the fire’s cause.

Police said that at this stage it was not believed to be suspicious.
