During 2018, Wilson ran a global competition called the Ultra around the World Record (UATWR) attempt, and only recently Upwey South Tennis Club was notified that they were one of a few winners.
The around the world challenge asked tennis teams around the world to have as many ball exchanges on a single tennis court as possible, using the singles lines on the court.
The challenge is that on each side of the court only two Wilson Ultra rackets are in use and after each exchange the racket needs to be handed over to the next player in line. Upon handing over of the racket, the player runs to the other end of the court and gets in the back of the line.
This process continues until a player hits a ball in the net or out of the singles lines on the court.
Upwey South won the competition by scoring 364 continuous ball exchanges, making them the winners for entire whole Asia Pacific Region.
The reward for winning the competition was a huge tennis party which took place on 23 March at the Upwey South Tennis Club.
