Missing teen

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing Noble Park teen Peter Fruhwirth.

The 17-year-old was last seen in Lilydale on 16 February.

Police have concerns for his welfare due to the length of time he has been missing.

Peter is approximately 165cm tall, with a slender build, pale complexion, brown eyes and dark brown hair.

He is known to frequent the Dandenong, Mooroolbark or Croydon areas.

Police have released an image of Peter in the hope someone recognises him and can provide information regarding his current whereabouts.

Anyone with information about peter is urged to contact the Springvale Police Station on 8558 8600.

Attempted bakery burglary

An offender managed to escape the scene of an attempted burglary in Monbulk about 1.50am on 23 February.

Police said the offender attempted a burglary on a Monbulk bakery in Main Street before being disturbed by police who happened to be patrolling.

Anyone with more information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

Three hospitalised in Belgrave South crash

Three people were taken to hospital after a car crash in Belgrave South about 9am on 25 February.

Paramedics and police were called to Belgrave-Hallam Road.

A woman in her 80s was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious condition with lower body injuries.

A woman in her 40s was taken by road to The Alfred in a stable condition with upper body injuries.

A woman in her 40s was taken by road to Dandenong Hospital in a stable condition with minor injuries.

Search for gold rings owner

Emerald Police are trying to find the owner of two gold diamond rings that were handed in.

The rings were found at Woolworths, Emerald in September last year and police are hoping to reunite them with their owner.

Contact Emerald Police on 5954 0200 with information.

Smokehouse theft

An offender has been identified after an overnight theft at a smokehouse in Cockatoo last week.

Police said a man in his mid-20s was identified and remanded on other matters.

The theft took place during the early morning on 25 February.
