Remains at 1000 Steps not treated as suspicious

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the discovery of human remains at the 1000 Steps in Tremont this morning (4 June).

Emergency services responded to reports of a deceased man near the 1000 steps walk at the Dandenong Ranges National Park about 9am.

The death is not being treated as suspicious.
