Teen airlifted to hospital following collision

A teenager has been airlifted to hospital following a collision in Olinda this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to Mount Dandenong Tourist Road just before 1.30pm to reports of an injured cyclist.

A 15-year-old boy was flown by the air ambulance helicopter to The Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition with serious upper and lower body injuries.

According to Victoria Police, all parties involved in the incident stopped at the scene and investigations remain ongoing.
