A learner rider has tragically died while riding a motorcycle in Ferntree Gully over the weekend.
Police were called to the incident on Burwood Highway on Sunday 15 August.
It is believed the motorcyclist clipped the gutter on a median strip along the busy highway just before 12.30pm, causing him to fall off the bike. The man died at the scene and is yet to be formally identified.
