Police searching for man dressed as french maid

Police released an image of the pair they believe may be responsible.

Police are trying to identify two men dressed as a French maid and the queen of hearts following the theft of a police hat on Saturday 30 October in Boronia.

Transit police released an image of the pair after a protective services officer allegedly dropped a hat that was subsequently picked up and stolen.

October 31 is Halloween which may explain the pair’s peculiar choice of clothing.

Police have requested anyone with information regarding the identity of the men to contact Crimestoppers.
