Serious collision at Wandin North

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are investigating a serious collision in Wandin North Tuesday afternoon, 2 November.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Clegg Road and Wellington Road just after 2.30pm, to reports two cars had collided.

Police, Mt Evelyn and Wandin Fire Brigades and paramedics attended the scene.

A 33-year-old Springvale woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.

A 27-year-old Clayton South man was taken to hospital by road with serious injuries

A 34-year-old Kallista man is currently assisting police with their inquiries.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
