EACH has announced their testing clinic in Emerald is now permanently closed.
The clinic has been running for 12 months and serviced the local community with PCR testing.
“We’d like to take this opportunity to thank the local community for their support and patience over the past 12 months, especially local traders who experienced disruptions through peak periods.” the EACH announcement said.
With the changes made to testing requirements and an increased reliance on rapid antigen testing, PCR testing is no longer as necessary as throughout 2020 and 2021.
The closest testing clinics for people in Emerald are Rowville Respiratory Clinic, Chisholm TAFE Berwick and EACH Ferntree Gully.
