Voices of Casey postpone launch event until early March

Voices of Casey have postponed their launch event a week, after independent candidate Claire Ferres Miles was forced to isolate after being a household contact with a Covid-19 case.

The free event will now take place on Sunday 6 March from 12pm-2pm at Kalorama Memorial Gardens.

Voices of Casey Spokeswoman Fionn Bowd said the group is proud to endorse Claire Ferres Miles as the Community Independent candidate in the federal seat of Casey.

“The launch on 6 March will represent the beginning of an important journey for our electorate of Casey. It will be day where Claire can showcase the key policies that constituents have been passionate about for so long and be given a voice,” she said.

“This will be an opportunity for grassroots connections – plenty of conversations and an opportunity to understand what matters the most to the people of our area – the Yarra Ranges, the Yarra Valley and surrounds.”

Kalorama Memorial Gardens is located at 1190 Mount Dandenong Tourist Road.
