Knox City Council will be hosting a free Solar Savers Q&A Webinar on 22 March 6.30pm to 7.30am, to help residents find out how the council will support their transition to solar power.
Solar Savers is a local government initiative designed to make the change to solar easier and more affordable for Knox residents.
Representatives from solar installers Eko Energy and Solar Savers will explain how the program can support Knox locals.
Topics covered in the webinar include the benefits of installing a solar system for your home, assessing if it is suitable for your home, estimating saving on energy bills, quotation and installation process and additional support for pension and low-income households.
Knox households account for 18 per cent of greenhouse emissions in the local area.
