Upper Ferntree Gully Station carpark receiving upgrades

The car park at Upper Ferntree Gully Station will be receiving upgrades in the coming weeks, as the Victorian Government builds 30 new parking spaces.

The new car park will also feature improved CCTV, lighting and more bicycle parking.

After a period of community consultation, the State Government said safety, design and environmental impacts were major factors for local residents.

Works are expected to begin in early 2022, with completion expected by the end of 2022.

Upper Ferntree Gully Station is on the Belgrave train line and the upgrades are being delivered as a part of the Level Crossing Removal Project.
