Cardinia Shire Council are looking for residents to inform draft plans and help seek funding for a proposed redevelopment of Cardinia Life.
354 community members have already had their say through drop-in sessions at Cockatoo Market and Koo Wee Rup Shopping Centre from Monday 28 March.
There are 750,000 annual attendances to Cardinia Life and the council is seeking funding for the community facility, wanting to know how people are using the venue and what they would like to see at Cardinia Life in the future.
For locals to have their say they can fill out the survey at www.cardinia.vic.gov.au/haveyoursay, email recreation@cardinia.vic.gov.au, share their thoughts over the phone on 1300 787 624 or attend a session at Cardinia Life on Wednesday 13 April from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.
For an in-depth discussion about the potential redevelopment, locals can register to attend both online and in-person focus groups. These will run on Wednesday 13 April from 10:30am to 12:30pm in-person, Tuesday 3 May from 6:30pm to 8:30pm in-person, Thursday 5 May from 6:30pm to 8:30pm online and a session for young people on Tuesday 10 May from 5:30pm to 7:30pm online.
Engagement findings and priorities and actions for the redevelopment will be talked through at a workshop on Thursday 12 May from 6:30pm to 8:30pm which residents can register to attend.
Feedback is open until Sunday 15 May.
