Search begins for missing woman in Sherbrooke Forest

Emergency crews are on scene searching for a missing woman in Sherbrooke Forest.

The 43-year-old woman was last seen at 12pm on Wednesday 8 June.

Her white 2014 Volkswagen Passat was discovered around 6am on Friday 10 June near Sherbrooke Forest.

Victoria Police said on Wednesday they and her family were becoming increasingly concerned about her welfare due to a medical condition and her disappearance being out of character.

Police have blocked off access to Sherbrooke Road and have deployed search dogs and aerial drones as they continue to search the nearby area. SES crews are also on the scene.

More to come.
