Cardinia carers invited to catch-up

Carers in the Cardinia Shire locality are invited to a free session at the Cardinia Cultural Centre in Pakenham on Wednesday 24 August.

Cardinia Carers Catch Up, is co-hosted by EACH and Pathways for Carers, aims to create a carers group for carers of older people, young people, or loved ones and family members.

The free event will run from 10:00am to 12:30pm.

Cardinia Shire Mayor Councillor Jeff Springfield said Cardinia Carers Catch Up was a great way to support those in the community who look after the most vulnerable.

“This catch up will bring together carers who often put the needs of others before their own,” Cr Springfield said.

“This will be a valuable opportunity for carers to meet those experiencing the same challenges and create social connections. I encourage all carers to jump online and sign up for this event.”
