Information session being held to discuss Community Grants program

The Yarra Ranges Council Hills Community Recovery Committee is holding a Community Grants Information Session on Thursday 28 July at 6:00pm via Zoom.

The information session is an opportunity for community groups to engage with the Urban Community Recovery Committee regarding the first Hills Community Recovery Committee Grant round opening on Monday 1 August.

From Monday 1 August, the Hills Community Recovery Committee will seek applications from groups or organisations operating in the Yarra Ranges LGA or who are providing support to at least one of the hills townships.

These hills townships include Belgrave, Belgrave Heights, Belgrave South, parts of Emerald, Ferny Creek, Kallista, Kalorama, part of Lysterfield, Macclesfield, Menzies Creek, Monbulk, Mt Dandenong, Narre Warren East, Olinda, Sassafras and Selby, Sherbrook, Silvan, Tecoma, The Patch, Tremont, parts of Upper Ferntree Gully and Upwey.

If your group provides support to one or more of these townships, and have ready-to-go projects that meet an urgent need, then you can register for this information session to find out more on how you can help your community recover from the COVID pandemic and June storm.

The grant round will close on Monday 29 August.
