Police looking for information after Ferntree Gully car crash

Rowville police are appealing for public assistance after two people ran from a crashed car in Ferntree Gully on Monday 27 March.

Police were patrolling Emma Court when they observed a red Ford Falcon about 1.25am.

Police attempted to conduct a routine intercept of the Ford when the driver failed to pull over and clipped the front bumper of the police car, causing minor damage.

The car left the scene and was last seen speeding into Cheryl Crescent.

It is believed the vehicle then lost control and crashed into a tree on Windermere Road.

The two male occupants ran from the car and it is unknown if they were injured in the crash.

Officers patrolled the area but were unable to locate the people involved.

The officers were not injured.

No arrests have been made and investigators are keen to speak to any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.
