Fatal Collision in Gembrook

Gembrook had a fatal collision occur on Sunday 17 September, with a motorbike and van colliding mid-morning on Gembrook road.

Emergency services were called to the accident at about 9.50 am.

The 26 year old Clayton South male rider died at the scene.

The 72 year old Launching Place man driving the van and his passenger, a 79-year-old Launching Place woman, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.
