Police invstigating fatal Bayswater North crash

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal crash which occurred in Bayswater North on Monday 1 January, it has been confirmed.

Investigators have been told a gold Ford Territory left Canterbury Road and crashed into a pole about 3.10pm, according to police.

The 31-year-old male driver from Bon Beach, and sole occupant of the Ford, was airlifted to hospital where it is understood he later died.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, with dashcam footage or information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or crimestoppersvic.com.au.
