Three people taken to hospital after crash in Silvan

Three people were taken to hospital after an incident on Monbulk Road in Silvan on Monday 8 January.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson confirmed paramedics were called to the scene at about 11.25am.

“A woman believed to be in her 40s was transported by road to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition with lower body injuries,” the spokesperson said.

“A child was transported by road to The Royal Children’s Hospital in a stable condition with upper body pain.

“A teenage male was transported by road to Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition with upper and lower body pain.”

A CFA spokesperson said three CFA units from Silvan and Monbulk conducted a washaway following an incident in Silvan at around 1pm.

“The washaway was due to oil on the road,” the spokesperson said.

“The incident was under control at 1.16pm and deemed safe at 1.26pm.”
