The Knox community shopping bus, which accommodates those who are 65 years and over, is offering Knox residents affordable, comfortable and accessible rides to and from Westfield Knox
The fortnightly service provides opportunities for passengers to be socially active with people living in their neighbourhood.
Those who are eligible to join are Knox residents 65 years and over with independent mobility.
Passengers must be self-dependent or attend with a recognised carer, be ready at the pick-up time and be committed to the fortnightly schedule.
The bus operates on Mondays to Fridays with pick up times at 9:30 and 10:30am.
Pick up locations are available from any bus-friendly road or spot near your residence.
Return times from the shopping centre are 12.30 or 1.30 pm from the drop off point.
A one-way trip to the shopping centre on the bus costs $3.5, and a round trip is $7.
