Free community event, Knox Festival, is welcoming locals to come together and celebrate community life.
The free event, held at Wally Tew Reserve in Ferntree Gully on Saturday 2 March, will feature a range of activities for the whole family including live music, amusement rides, cooking demonstrations, food trucks, arts and outdoor play, sports, community stalls, kids crafts, and ‘come and try’ activities.
The daytime program, from 10am to 5pm, featuring arts and outdoor play, sports, food trucks, community stalls, live performances, amusement rides and activities for the whole family.
The extended twilight program, from 5pm to 10pm, will feature live music, amusement rides, food trucks, fireworks finale and more.
Knox Festival is an alcohol, drug, smoke, vape and animal/pet free event, with guide dogs and companion dogs are welcome.
No general parking is available at the festival, patrons are encouraged to walk, ride, take public transport or the free Knox Festival community bus.
Accessible parking is available via the Burwood Highway entrance.
A free shuttle bus will run between Ferntree Gully Station and the event (the first bus to depart Ferntree Gully Station will be at 11am).
