Last year's sale saw a huge turnout from people hoping to get their hands on a bargain.

Upwey CFA is back with its beloved jumble sale on Saturday 4 May, inviting locals to claim some second-hand treasure or find a new home for some of theirs.

Now in its 53rd year, the sale has become an anticipated day in the Upwey calendar, as locals gather to marvel at the event’s exciting offerings.

After coordinating collections of items big, small and everything in between in the weeks leading up to the event, the sale will see all sorts of furniture, collectibles, crafts, toys, tools and assorted vintage items, each in brilliant condition.

And if a new velvet couch or rare figurine isn’t what you’re looking for, the day will also feature an all day barbecue, for locals whose bargain hunting desires are better satisfied by a well-priced sausage in bread.

So whether it’s through a tasty lunch or a big new purchase that is too large to fit in the boot of your car, locals are invited to come down to show their support for the Upwey CFA.

The 53rd Annual Jumble sale will take place at Upwey CFA, 134 Old Belgrave Road Upwey, from 9am to 2pm.
