Traffic chaos in Belgrave South after truck rollover

A Cleanaway truck overturned at the roundabout of Belgrave-Hallam Road and Colby Drive this morning at approximately 8.20am, coming to rest on its side near Belgrave South Primary School.

The truck was reportedly traveling from the Belgrave direction, and fortunately, no other vehicles were involved in the incident.

Traffic in the area came to a standstill, residents and shoppers rushed to assist.

Emergency services, including fire trucks, Ambulance Victoria, and police shortly arrived at the scene.

A spokesperson from Victoria Police said this was a truck rollover – no injuries.

Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics responded to an incident at Belgrave South around 8.25am on Tuesday 22 October.

“No emergency treatment or transport was provided,” the spokesperson said.
