Pet owners, animal lovers and residents of Cardinia Shire Council are invited to provide their feedback to assist the council in developing an updated Domestic Animal Management Plan (DAMP).

Every Victorian Council is required to produce a DAMP that guides Council’s animal management service by promoting animal welfare, the responsible ownership of dogs and cats, and the protection of the environment.

Council is currently developing its DAMP for 2026-2029 and encourages feedback on various topics relating to the management of domestic pets.

To ensure the DAMP reflects the need and expectations of our entire community, all Cardinia Shire community members are invited to participate.

Get involved by completing the short online survey or requesting a hardcopy via mail@cardinia.vic.gov.au.

This consultation opportunity will be open until Monday 5 May.
